Visitor Regulations

1. The Museum is open year-round. Daily opening hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with last admission at 4:30 PM. Reservations are required in advance via the official WeChat account or website of the Henry C. Lee Museum of Forensic Science.


2. The Museum does not currently offer extended hours. Should extended services be provided during special periods, advance notice will be given.

3. The Museum may close temporarily for major events or equipment maintenance. Advance notice will be provided in such cases.


4. Certain restored crime scenes in the Science Exhibition Area are highly realistic and may cause discomfort. Please exercise caution when visiting. Elderly visitors and minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Please watch your step and be mindful of slippery surfaces and stairs.


5. Entry is prohibited for individuals with inappropriate attire, those under the influence of alcohol, persons carrying flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials, and pet owners.


6. Visitors are required to help maintain a clean environment. Smoking, spitting, and littering are prohibited inside the Museum. Food and beverages are not allowed in the exhibition areas.


7. Do not touch the exhibits. Please help protect the Museum's facilities. Anyone who causes damage must compensate for the full cost of restoration or replacement, and the responsible party will be held accountable.


8. Please maintain proper order during your visit and follow the instructions of the Museum staff. Chasing, roughhousing, and making loud noises are prohibited. The Museum reserves the right to deny entry to visitors who refuse to comply with these regulations or staff instructions.


9. Visitors are responsible for their own safety. The Museum is not liable for any accidents resulting from personal negligence.


10. Creating disturbances within the Museum is strictly forbidden. Violators will be reported to and dealt with by the public security authorities in accordance with the law.

The Henry C. Lee Museum of Forensic Science reserves the right of final interpretation regarding the above regulations.
